What pisses me off actually is the people who are now downgrading Silva. The truth is that SIlva is still as good as he's ever been and could have destroyed Leites but decided not to, for whatever reason. This is still the same Anderson Silva that destroyed Franklin. He's still top 3 p4p. I've no doubt that Anderson could have smashed that dude to bits if he wanted to.
Anderson Silva may have failed to blow out an overmatched opponent in this latest defense - but at least he didn't get battered around the ring for a full round like Arlovski did to Fedor. Fedor took more punishment in that one round than Silva has taken in the past four years combined. I still have Fedor p4p #1 because he is undefeated - but I'm just drawing the comparison here.
