I really don't have a preference in this fight. I'm favoring Winky just to bring WWM back down to earth, but then we would have to put him on suicide watch so....... I'm torn.

    Owned by posters?

Why don't you break it down then. Tell me wassup. You're the expert. You get it right, right?

I get "owned" by posters, ya'll get humiliated in the ring. I was "owned" by posters when I said that Mijares would lean in too much and get knocked out by Darchinyan.

I was owned when I said Mosley would dominate Margarito.

Everything gets reversed when the fighters get in the ring. And next thing you know, ya'll will act like ya'll knew it all along.

KO and TKO are much different. I never said Winky would lay Paul out, I said the ref would call it or Paul would quit.

While honestly I don't know if that will happen and I'm actually leaning towards Paul's heart being strong enough not to quit, it will be the type of fight where one fighter is dominating the other fighter so much to the point to where you gotta ask yourself, why don't they just stop the fight?

Hey........anything can happen, but Winky will win and will be dominant. Basically that's what it breaks down to.

    ****, I'll tell you what...

If Winky barely wins and Paul just makes it competitive, you can say i was wrong, but until then.......

OK AND TOMORROW NITE WE WILL SEE....But Winky (regardless of TKO OR KO) hasn't had a "knockout" in 7 years yet he's gonna come off of a year and a half layoff and knock out Paul Williams??? Where do you get your facts and suggestions from????:bart

WHAT IS THERE THAT YOU'VE SEEN IN PAUL WILLIAMS AND WINKY WRIGHT IN THE LAST 3 YEARS TO SUGGEST THAT WINKY WOULD KO PAUL???:huh IM NOT SAYIN U CAN'T PREDICT THAT HE WILL CUZ ITS UR OPINION..BUT WHAT HAVE YOU SEEN THAT NONE OF US HAS TO SAY THAT WINKY WILL STOP PAUL???:think

winky = 6 t/ko's in his last 30 fights.... and 2 were of those were in the tail end of that 30 (like fights 28&29)
paul = never been kd'd ever in his pro career....

    you do the math

I think Williams is rightly made a favourite all things considered, if this was Winky of many years ago things would be completely different. But he's not, inactivity and age are undoubtedly huge question marks. Especially when you consider Williams style, that can really highlight these factors.

Anyhow, I don't see any stoppage here. I'd be stunned if we saw a genuine stoppage, not cuts and the like. I can't remember Wright last stoppage, and even if Wright struggles his defence will never leave him, he's never been stopped, he's faced punchers like Trinidad and Hopkins up at 170. Williams throws a lot..but no..I don't see it.

This was an incredibly easy fight to predict just based on the styles, physical attributes and respective stage of careers

The first post is laughably delusional. Winky has never even come close to stopping an upper echelon opponent, yet an older Winky coming off a nearly 2 year layoff was supposed to stop Williams? How do people come up with this stuff?

Even a prime Wright would have gotten everything he wanted and then some from Williams. Williams is a terrible matchup stylistically for Wright at any stage

Read this post before reading Axe Man's WALD-Haye predictions

In other words, don't even waste your time debating with this guy

It was Winky who nearly retired on his stool.

You're right. I thought Winky's size would be a factor. Initially I was unsure, but after reading what Bernard said regarding the fight, about how Winky would use his size to bully Paul and get inside his long arms, I decided to be bold and make a TKO prediction.

You win some and lose some.

As it turns out, Winky's size was a factor, but only in the sense that it was Paul who was the bigger stronger man, and I also underestimated Paul's ability, who I think did an excellent job at using all of his assets, and now I rate Paul much higher.

    Do you?

I know Mayweather is your boy and all, but would you want him to fight Paul?
