Golota always was doing good as the underdog, so the easiest way for capture
real title is like that: beat the **** out of overrated Poveting (6/1 underdog)
and KO Wlad early (7/1 underdog) then school aging Vitaly (the No way option)

So by the time he does this he will be what.....like 45? Its unrealistic. He needs a tune-up and then hope that one of the champs uses him as a tune-up or a last minute replacement. His only remaining trump card is that his name still sells. He has until 2010, max.

That the realistic view ... last minute replacement for Valuev-Chagaev
due to Chagaye's next injury. .... then beat the **** out of Povetkin,
KO Wlad early and school Vitaly :D .... 42 is coming this year.

Damn, I'll bet Golota is approaching 265 lbs! Will he ever be able to get down in the low 240's again???

    :think

I was thinking Golota looks a bit plump as well. I'm sure he could get back down to the lower to mid 240s. Guys like Holyfield and Golota are like machines when it comes to training. However I dont see him ever getting back down to his prime 237 lbs ever again. And even if he did, he's still be slow.

Nice to see a hot looking Golota fan. You'd look lovely in a red and white Polish pride bikini.

Thanks for the pics Hcskin. Golota looks stoned out of his mind in that first picture. He should buzz his hair again and grow some scruff.

BTW, can you or anyone else translate the Golota interview in your link? They apparently ask him something about a fight with Adamek.

He's definitely packing the pounds on, but what I find more concerning is this:

Would you look at this? He's an old man now.

I hate to say it, but Golota is too old and too slow.

    It's over.

He'll probably fight at least one more time a year or so down the road, but I don't think it's worth it any more.

I really wish he would retire.

Still have not got a answer about Golota's future...and is there still that Joe Cool guy here with inside info on the Golota camp?

Yeah, I noticed that too. He looks like he's near fifty in that pic. Just bad lighting?:think Plus he looks a bit plump around the mid section.

What is your opinion of Golota figting Adamek? I doubt it would happen, but supposedly there have been talks of this.

I haven't seen joecool post in awhile, but if I had to take a guess, Golota will probably be fighting again.
