How does Japan's Koji Sato qualify for the 'eurobum' status? Of Pavlik, Abraham and Sturm, Felix was the only one last year to fight a legitimate top5 MW (Sylvester), yet you fail give him credit for that. I guess you have 'europhobia', or 'germanophobia'.

Sato is far from a Eurobum. He's a Asiabum. And he looks horrible on video. This should be a destruction. Personally, I blame Universum more than Sturm himself. They do this with all their top guys.

Sylvester was a mandatory, so Sturm doesn't really get much credit for facing him, since he was forced to. He gets credit for beating him, but that's pretty much his only relevant win in his career. He's 1-1 against an old Castellejo and a shot Castellejo, and he was robbed in the DLH fight. Other than that, he hasn't done squat...

Soto is not an eurobum and Sturm actually fought Sylvester and Griffin recently so he needs a few soft touches in between the decent fights.

Sturm's last opponent was a good one. I know Sturm has publicly turned down fights with Abraham numerous times now but at least he's still active. Compare Sturm's recent opponents with Pavlik's last two, he's no better really.

So you're trying to tell me that the same Randy Griffin who drew with James Obede Toney and scraped by Maselino Masoe on home turf was a big win?

I'll give Sturm that he has faced the strongest competition of the middleweights in the past 12 months.

Sylvester and Sturm was an excellent fight which Felix dominated in boxing and even in physical terms. I really don't see all those american middleweights so that you can say that he should quit fighting european opposition. Actually, there's only one american MW title holder and hes building his career back with his own share of handpicked guys such as Locket, Rubio and Mora...
