    YES YES YES.

Tyson would read Foreman like a book. A prime Tyson I mean.

    Sweet Dreams George.

I really think Foreman handles Tyson's punches well. Foreman always recovered from sharp piercing punches, or weathered them. I feel you need heavy, heavy blows that dent him.

After a competitive firefight, Tyson's legs say uncle before George's do. I don't think Foreman loses this fight more often than, say, 1 out of 5, even though it's a slugfest. I feel he can take Mike's initial shots and Mike can't eat that uppercut.

You haven't been around here that long. You'll eventually discover that there are some arguments that are worth going into long and elaborate debates over, while others are simply better left to the short and simple retorts like " I think not. "

I would agree with you. Although Tyson is indeed a very sharp, quick puncher, he can only fight moving forward on the attack which is moving towards Foreman and doubling the impact of George's punches. George's corner would tell Foreman to not worry about Tyson's head since his head movement was fantastic but to punch at his chest. The thudding impact would keep Mike off balance and hurt his chances of opening up an assault. Foreman also fought tall and never compromised his height advantage so he would be able to land counters as well. I think the first round would be Mike's as he came out in the usual style but would actually go all out trying to catch George early and possibly intimidate him with a blitzkrieg. In the end I believe the styles make fights and as with Frazier and Norton, George catches up to him and takes him out after a first round fire-fight in two to three rounds.

Foreman did not beat a whos who of great fighters, he destroyed some , but other people stopped them also. An old washed up tyson took some big punches from Lennox Lewis for 10 rounds , some huge punches. Lennox is bigger than Big George. He was also faster and a better boxer. A prime Tyson would hit a prime George hard and often and then do it again and again. Not saying Mike would beat him 10 out of 10 just most of the time. Lets not forget the young George was not immune to feeling intimidated himself either.

If Foreman gets to do his pushing his opponent away from him to get his range, then Tyson will be in a lot of trouble. I think Tyson has real trouble reaching Foreman. I don't think he holds up under Foreman's punches. I pick Foreman. I would even pick the Foreman who faced Holyfield to beat Tyson.

Tyson doesn't lose to fighters that are are slow, case closed.

Tyson early KO but it would be entertaining. Foreman thrived against shorter fighters that came to him.

This is a bad style matchup for Iron Mike. Good swarmers usually don't do well against good sluggers. Big George would win this by a knockout...in my opinion.

tyson was not a swarmer, he came in low and fast and opened up with fast combinations. Foreman was slow and if Ali had enough power tyson does.

The Foreman who lost to Holy beats a prime Tyson ......... what about the one who lost to Morrison ? Apart from frazier which other victories point to a victoey over tyson ?
