If only Golota was 28 in today's heavyweight landscape...

I really hope that does not happen.
    :patsch

On another note, Hoax, will you be tuning in to Boxing Girl's show today?

Joecool hasn't been around for a while, but last time he dropped by he said Golota planned on fighting again when his arm heels up from surgery. Not sure if he'll fight again, but I think the general consensus around here is, he's washed up and should retire. But I'd still like to see him fight a one last meatball and go out on a win. Maybe rematch with gimp legged/strip dancer Jack Basting?

I think he should fight Riddick Bowe for a third time...finally win a fight with him....and then Retire, cause I think that would be a good note to retire on.

Is adamek still ur nr 1 target?

not mine , its not really my idea , im reapeating myself , but what u can do , whenever adamek really want this fight , it will happen , if he wants a tryout in heavyweight ill be at his disposal , ofcourse if my hand survives the training , i would not withdraw for that fight for sure ,ill add some weight , and our champion wont really hurt me , but i cant promiss that..

If he fought Bowe again and won this time, it'd be like coming full circle, as Golota's career really launched off during the Bowe fights. But it would be kind of a sad spectacle, as Bowe would no doubt enter the ring as a whale and Golota would be very slow. The Bowe-Golota fights were two of the most memorable battles in boxing history IMO. It was literally like watching an exciting movie.

I still say Bowe-Golota II was the most exciting heavyweight fight ever.

i am a big golota fan.
but golota and sam both know golota CAN'T handle fast strong starters, and i think golota is a bit scared (he gets nervouse when he steps into the ring) (if you watch his face ) (impression) i dont know how to call impression on the face in english golota (how bad it sounds)failed with fast strong starters. why isn't he trying another trainer?and why does he come in so "cold"??

Bowe was not heathy in that fight...but it had losts of drama...just too bad Golota could not aviod hitting Bowe in bean bag for another round in a half...cause it would have been great if he pulled it off.

Yes Golota has slowed a lot...but I watched his fight with Mike Mollo and that was a great fight to watch if your a Golota fan cause he over came for once in a fight...that eye was horrible and he still fought on and even though he was slow with his shots he got it done...sadly he should had retired after that fight cause it would have been a high not to go out on.

I am not a boxing historian and havnt seen many of the old time great heavyweight battles, but I can say without a doubt it's the most exciting fight I have ever watched PERIOD.

But damn, the first one was awesome too. It was just bizzare because Golota was an unknown Polish import schooling the baddest man on the planet. THen you had the bizzare low blows and riot for an encore. It's hard to say which fight was more exciting, but I'd probably have to go with the rematch. That was just back and fourth absolute war.
