72, when I saw all the answers I thought 'damn, you knew that!' BTW, where the **** is James Toney, the IBA and peoples champ?
I have got seventy one... I solved the right column almost completely (it took some time to guess the right tranliteration for some post-soviet champions, and still failed to guess the proper one for Lyakovich) and filled most of the middle column (although I missed some lesser guys I knew, but never suspected of being "champs", like Nicholson or Nielsen). Anything which was pre-Ali was blank, with the exception of few obvious guesses like Marciano, Sullivan or Dempsey. I never pretended to be historian, so I guess it is acceptable score after all.
a disappointing 80 I missed some obvious ones like bowe and buster douglas and also got held up on the spelling of some. there were a lot more blanks in the modern day "champs" too.
To be honest a lot of mine were just guesses, guys I could remember hearing were fighting for a title or who I just thought might have held some belt. I didn't actually know that a lot of them held titles at one stage.
I got 90, and that was forgetting Patterson & Johanssonatsch Plus I couldn't spell some of the Russian names from memory. ...Lee Savold... that's a bit of a stretch
76. the test is messed up. i typed in pinklon thomas and got it but after the test it says i missed "pinkon thomas" winning the ibo. anyway thanks for showing me that!
****, that was fun. 75  took me forever to spell Liakhovich correct. Can't believe Danell Nicholson ever won the belt
