    Great find!

    Durans trainer Ray Arcel said afterwards "you just beat the best lightweight in the world tonight".

    When asked who was the hardest puncher he ever faced, Duran answered "that Aboriginal kid".

    Also worth noting that it was Duran who went to the hopsital after this fight, not Hector. You can see Roberto walking to the wrong corner at the end of most of the rounds.

    Intriguing fight.

    Yeah quite weird how he did that..I think he was such an intense guy he tended to lose himself in the ring and just wasnt thinking about that sorta stuff when the round ended..he was probably playing out in his head what to do in the next round.

    Thompson showed he was truly world class in this fight and how physically strong he was to be able to at times muscle one of the most physically dominant lightweights ever... He again showed this in the Cervantes fight..I think Antonio was glad the cut when it did, so he didnt have to contend with Hector's style for 7 more rounds.
