To all the Haye doubters

Haye is not going to stand there and trade with Wlad, that's ****ing stupid. He's getting under his skin though in the hope that Wlad comes out like a wrecking ball. Haye's speed in this fight will be key. He will make Wlad miss for a while. Wlad doesn't have the speed to match Haye and when the moment is right Haye will jump on him and finish it and Wlad's career.

Yes, he will make Wlad miss, because Haye has absolutely brilliant defensive skills, hold his hands at his sides, sitting in the pocket throwing telegraphed 1-2s, lunging with his punches over and over, having ZERO head movement.

The key to this fight as the key to the Hatton fight is discipline. If Haye can use his speed and not try and macho el macho then I really think he can win this fight. If he gets tagged he's not the kind of fighter to cover up, he'll go down on his shield.

You see, this is what everyone keeps saying; 'haye's speed'. What speed? Where is it. I watched the Barret fight having bought into the hype a little. I expected a 1st round KD if not a KO. I expected Tyson like head and body movement. There was none. Haye has fairly quick hands, but nothing more really. I think he is dangerous, don't get me wrong, but I think his speed is overrated.

 

if thompson and mormeck had the speed to hit him, then wlad has it too. even fragomeni managed to hit him at times.

 

Haye's boxing skills are often underestimated.We all know about his power which will crack Wladmirs chin doing boxing a favour in the process.I doubt very much Vladmir will want to fight Haye after this.
