Ivan Calderon vs Brian Viloria.........Who wins????

Viloria was impressive last week - and maybe it would be better for boxing if a fighter like him could dominate the weight class and bring some Carbajal-style excitement to the lower weights.
I just don't see it happening though.
Calderon by comfortable decision.

 

I have a hard time imagining Miguel Cotto as a light flyweight.

Anyway, I'd favor Calderon, but Viloria would be a live dog. It's pretty damn close to the end of the line for Calderon, who should retire in his next few fights if he wants to keep that undefeated record of his.

 

Cotto is 28 and Ivan is 34. The fight was in 1993. So Ivan was 18 and Cotto was 13 years old.

By the way Ivan doesn't have HBO kissing his ass like Floyd had. I am sure right now making a good pay day is more important for Ivan than retiring undefeated. If he wanted to stay undefeated he would have stayed at 105lbs

 

This will be a boring fight as usual Calderon will be pot shotting and riding on his bike........ but UD Calderon over Villoria

both fighters i like but as much as i like calderon viloria i would have to go wit because i believe that viloria has speed and power to catch calderon and calderon has been down in a previous fight but viloria is a good finisher.
