Mayweather will fight every welter except Cotto, until he's forced too

First off I don't hate Cotto.

Shane couldn't get combos off because he can't do that to anyone that has movement he can't fight off his back foot and is only effective when his feet are set. Hell even Mayorga for most of the fight kept Shane from landing combos because he moved more than expected.

When will people learn that pressure alone won't beat PBF?:-( PBF loves pressure it simply gives a defensive-counter puncher like PBF more opportunites to land counter shots:deal He'll eat up a guy like Cotto for lunch beating him to the punch and countering him over and over. He'll clinch effectively when neccessay beat Cotto up on the inside and shut down Cotto's body attack from the start of the fight. After that Cotto will be so fustrated that nothing he tries works effectively because he has no plan B. That's when PBF will open up more on Cotto and take him into the deep waters and drown him. Cotto's fans seem to think he's ready for a ring general like PBF but he's not. He's never seen a complete fighter like PBF but PBF has seen guys like him and he will get a boxing lesson when the two meet. He doesn't have the ring IQ or defense to beat a guy like PBF.

Cotto is also the most versatile fighter Floyd would ever be in the ring with. Mayweather has never fought a fighter like Cotto and you'll see how this plays out when the 2 ever meet.

What slick boxers have Cotto fought? Only pressure fighter Mayweather has had trouble with is Castillo, and he solved that problem the second fight. Hatton was a pressure fighter, and look what happened to him  Since when has Cotto been an pressure fighter anyway :nono Hatton is more a pressure fighter than Cotto, so how would Cotto apply more pressure than any other fighter Mayweather has fought? Mayweather doesn't coast kid, he takes what ever the other fighter gives him. Cotto is a good fighter, but he won't be able to out smart Mayweather. Trust me on this, Cotto will have to much respect for Mayweather to come in and try to pressure him. He would get countered all day.

Cotto pressured and broke down Judah who had more speed(and has more speed than Floyd too, just lacked the stamina in there fight) and he outboxed a faster fighter in Shane Mosley in the 2nd half of the fight. Cotto is better than both Hatton and Castillo put together, neither one of them are on Cotto's level.

Please. Cotto is a boxer puncher a straight up and down fighter with no special effects. He doesn't make good adjustments and fights dumb if he tries to match wits with PBF in the ring he'll find himself humbled and KTFO.:deal

Actually JLC has accomplished more in his career than Cotto has and agruably a better fighter. Cotto has never beat a champion to get a title only fought for vacant straps. JLC has beaten real champs and was the champ at 135. I won't even go there with Hatton he's proven more as well. Cotto hasn't proven anything to be considered great yet.:deal

I am a huge Cotto fan but i think PBF beats him. He'll adjust and start taking over the fight. But i have always said that out of all the top welters i do believe Cotto gives PBF the toughest fight.

Now u are just talking dumb  Cotto was getting the business from Judah until the two low blows. Mosley is not faster than Mayweather, especially at this point. Besides, Cotto probably beat Mosley by a point. That fight could have been a draw. Now if Margo could beat Cotto, I'm sure Castillo could do the same in his prime at his best weight 135.

How can u call Cotto who got the **** beat out of him by a slow one style Margarita versatile :rofl If Margarita can land double and triple uppercuts, and punches at will? What do u think the most accurate puncher in boxing will do?
