"To be honest, Taylor hasn't got anything that worries me. He throws a straight right hand down the pipe, doubles up the jab, throws the uppercut. He throws the odd 1-2, followed by another 1-2, but to be honest with you it looks like fairly basic stuff."

"The only thing that I have to look out for is that early on it looks like he's putting everything into every punch, like he's trying to decapitate you. But to be honest with you - and I'm not blowing my own trumpet or being big headed or that - I can take a punch, I'm strong, I'm fast, and I can hit hard myself."

"What a lot of people don't realize is that alot of (Jean Pascal's) shots, I was riding them, turning my chin away from the shots. The only damage I came out with was a cut above the eye from a clash of heads. People say 'that was a hard fight,' and yeah, it was, but I felt in control from round one to round twelve. But what I also know from that fight is that I can stand in front of anyone, trade punches with them, but I'm not gonna get knocked out. I'm touching wood as I speak, but I'm not gonna get knocked out."

He has a point. He could win this fight, but I consider it a toss-up.

he doesnt have a point based on experience.

the thread quote doesnt fit froch because he's never faced 'anyone'.

taylor hits a little better than jean and lot faster. Froch can win this but he is going to have to outwork taylor and land a big one bc he is not going to outbox jermain.

He is not going to want to stand there and trade with Taylor, Taylor has underrated power.... like manny steward said, since Taylor telegraphs his right hand he doesn't have the high KO % , but look back at his footage, when he lands the straight right hand he does damage.

Taylor is a robotic straight punching muppet - **** even 1 dimensional Pavlik schooled him; twice!

The ONLY reason Taylor gets dues is through morons whorate a boxer based purely on names which is why so many idiots proclaim Taylor great for beating Hopkins when all he did was outwork a defensive strategy. Wow......

Froch's going to ****ing school this ***** make no mistake.

Froch is just as active as Pavlik and if Pavlik can beat Taylor on points, I see no reason why Froch shouldn't be able to as well.

It all comes down to Taylor boxing the WHOLE night
without fading. Also he has to hope he doesn't walk through the jab.

However this fights ends up, I'd love to see Froch-Pavlik. Thatd be a hell of an action fight
