Tommy is one of my favorite fighters so I am not being that objective- but Hearns seems to have a big edge in greatness. His big fights were all iconic and memorable and his knockouts stunning like with Cueves and Duran and his decision wins against greats Benitez and Hill were very impressive. I do like Mike's knockout of Curry though, but his career does not compare to Tommy's.

yeah this one is kind of obvious. Hearns was in bigger fights and is greater. A better poll would be Thomas Hearns compared to Roy Jones.

Mcallum never got his shot in prime against the fab four.....and was cast aside in Favor of Hearns by Manny steward vs Duran at 154 a fight Mcallum would have handed Duran his ass in.

Mcallum used to kick Hearn' ass in sparring at Kronk he suffered form todays syndrome of huge risk little reward . Little phrase never used back in the day or rarely. Its the boxing Mantra these days.

Mike was still an inexperienced guy in 1984. Not a sure thing that he beats Duran on the same day Hearns did. I would have to doubt it.

You don't judge based on only few fights . . . it should also include accomplishments and oppositions.

    NO CONTEST . . . Hearns!
