Agree with your prediction but I believe pacs speed could cause Hatton serious problems. Hattons been tagged by slower less skillful fighters. There's a definate chance Pac could keep smashing Ricky with rapid powerful straight lefts & KO him. Don't think that'll happen tho. I think Hatton will land & i don't think Manny can handle it.
    Can't wait.

I respectfully disagree. Sure the southpaw stance will be an issue but not bigger than the style PAC has. The speed will also be huge for PAC. Rick will be going straight at PAC....I suspect he'll box for a while...maybe a round or two but will revert back to his old ways which will allow PAC to begin taking full control. I thnk the first 3 rounds at most are competitive then PAC begins to show his class. Angles, footwork and speed will create counter opportunities and enable PAC to make Ricky pay for being so aggressive. Unfortunately I feel Hatton's style is made for PAC but more importantly PAC is just a better boxer. I don't think it will be a complete blow out but feel it will be a early night for PAC who wins by KO or UD should Hatton be more durable than expected.

hmm says... you can't always go by the density of their physique. Although most would incline to do so and it's almost always expected for the "bigger" guy to be stronger, I myself am stronger than some of the big folks in my boxing gym. As to the TP, fair post, but I'm sticking with Pac on not only his stance and speed, but his ability to get his shots in, unsuspectingly. True he will evade and get caught, but will it be enough to pull a victory. I'm not understanding all these early round stoppages, but hey it can happen.

I've got a feeling that this will go horribly wrong for Hatton and he will end up stopped or at least close to being stopped.

I can't stand Pac (couldn't say why) and I'm a massive Hatton fan, but the closer the fight comes the more I think Pac will win handily.

At 122, Pac was also hurt and should have been KO'd by Hussein. Marquez also stunned pac pretty bad. I know Hatton has more power than those two.

I don't think pac's punches will have the effect we are accustom to seeing. David Diaz took bomb after bomb from pac and keep coming until he basically couldn't. Diaz is smaller and doesn't have as good a chin as Hatton. I think the people who predict a pac ko victory think pac is going to hit hatton and disappear to another part of the ring, which is what he is going to have to do if he doesn't want to get hit by Hatton because Hatton will be on him the entire fight. On top of that, we still don't know how Manny will handle Hatton's punches which you alluded to in your post.

As an armchair fan with no real knowledge, let me say that reading all the pros and cons on this thread, other threads and elsewhere on the web make me just so excited about this fight...

... Two elite fighters. Both true world class, both warriors and both prepared to put it on the line against each other. People who know about these things can't agree on the likely outcome. It's a genuinely competitive fight at the highest level, and how often do we see one of them?

I'd like Ricky Hatton to win, but what I want more is for both men to be at their best and give us all a true classic. The Hitman and the Pacman... all respect to both of them.
