Which current fighters have the best chins?

Granite Chinned fighters don't get KOed. Period. That is why they have granite Chins.


Mayorga has a very good Chin but it ain't granite.

The same with Margarito.

 

Hatton got away with a lot on the inside against Tszyu, yes, but he took some big punches from one of the great 140 punchers. He proved his chin in that fight in my opinion. I don't think a guy with his style can get away with an average chin like you say he has. He just wouldn't get as far as he has blocking punches with his face. There's Urango aswell, I don't know how many times Urango caught him clean but if and when he did, that's proof of a guys chin right there.

 

Since when is mayweather feather-fisted? Fragile hands yes but by no means is he a paulie malignaggi. I would say he had decent power but def. not feather fisted.

Like I said I think Pavlik has an excellent chin,getting knocked down by fangerous guys doesn't mean he has a weak chin.All the guys that dropped him are dangerous.
Mayorga has a good chin but a chin alone without a defence doesn't work.

Froch is onof the best currently. with guys like Hopkins, Mayweather,etc, their chins don't often come into it as they rarely get hit full on. Froch seems intent to make sure none of the air around him gets hurt so he stops every punch with his face.

Both Mayorga and Margarito have granite chins! Not just anyone can take those shots for so long. Every human being can get KO'd if they get hit 100 flush power shots from guys with power, i dont care who you are.

It was Zuniga, not Zertuche, and the slow-mo is pretty damn funny.

McKart was by no means a clean knock down. In fact it was a shot to the shoulder that was headed for the chin until KP moved out of the way. He ended up off balance, and one glove brushed the canvass. The ref correctly ruled it a knockdown, but there wasn't much to it. Even McKart said it was irrelevant.

The odd thing about Pavlik's chin is that he has never been hurt by a known puncher. The guys who actually hurt him were BHop and Taylor. Speed Kills!
