    1. Kosta Tszyu
    2. Julio Cesar Chavez
    3. Roberto Duran

I can understand Chavez and Duran. They fought like 100 fights, throw back type guys and have alot of champions on their resume and basically fought everyone there was to fight at their weight classes. However Kosta fought a bunch of gate keepers. Guys who had potential but never really amounted to anything. Hurtado, Judah, Mitchell, Urkal, Tackie, Leija, and even was stopped by Phillips and Hatton, admittedly probably a little past his prime against Hatton, but still.

junior welters with punching power but average boxing ability that make ESB'ers cream themselves?

    not by a long shot.

Hamed, Trinidad, and Jones Jr. are way more overrated on here than Tszyu.

His fights with Mitchell and Hatton are on ESPN classic all of the time. Seen his fight with Philips and Judah aswell.

And none of which leads me to believe he'd beat Oscar, Mosley or Mayweather. Yet there are a plethora of people that think he would.

He's slightly overrated in terms of 140lb ratings, but I think that's because fighters like Locce and Loi are only starting to garner attention among contemporary boxing fans again. H2H, he's good enough to have moments against anyone he fights, although he probably doesn't beat all of them.

Tszyu on his best day is one of the 5 best fighters in history, lets just leave it at that and end this completely misleading thread. Nobody here overrates Tszyu.

Seems like it. That jab and over hand right combination would KO Mike Tyson.

As a fighter I do not think that he is over rated. I do think that his power is over rated though.

He was a damn good fighter, but I dont think he carried as much power as people say.

Hard hitter but not in the upper echelon of the hardest hitters out there.

Not hardly. Watch his fight against Ben Tackie if you want to see him showcase his true boxing skills. I've been told he purposely fought Tackie the way he did to dispell certain rumors/myths going around that he was a one-trick pony... I call this fight the boxing ballet. Look for it and be amazed...
