Will juanma stop penalosa?

penalosa is already old, slow and doesn't throw many punches anymore. in the pdl fight, he did connect with the more telling, clean and accurate punches but pdl still beat him to the decision due to activity/punch volume.

the guy is very technically sound and has very good defense but juanma can overwhelm him with speed, punch volume and of course, punching power. this would be a UD or a late TKO/KO for juanma.

 

He wont get lucky twice and land of those one in a million type of body punch again.

 

I have a feeling this fight is going to start many wars between PR and the Phillipines....:yep


Juanma wins no-matter how he does it. Too young and too strong for Penalosa at this point in his career. A Juanma KO wouldnt surprise me either.....

 

actually, penalosa has KO'd a lot of his previous opponents via body shots. it is certainly one of his weapons. could happen again but i don't think it will against juanma.

I think Juan Ma is taking Penalosa out late. Penalosa is crafty though and I believe the shot against Jhonny was designed. Watch the fight again and you can see him looking for it. He crouches to throw, hesitates than finds the opening then lets go. His experience will count for something against Juan Ma so I would not be surprised if anything happened in that one. Penalosa gets koed late.

 

Yea but when's the last time he knocked out someone with a bodyshot after getting completely dominated?

 

There is a first time for everything, this is boxing and George Foreman will tell you that it wasn't by luck he knocked moorer out, it was experience. I still think Juan Ma knockes Penalosa out however
