Mayweather will fight every welter except Cotto, until he's forced too

Actually, I was just using El Puma's logic against him. I'm glad we both disagree with the logic he used in his comment. I don't put much stock into what happen 6 years ago.

 

Cotto will pressure Mayweather because he knows that's the only way he can beat him. Cotto's most powerful punch is his left hook to the body. His most effective punch is the left jab which is deceptively fast and powerful. Cotto is not the type of fighter that pressures recklessly without a jab behind his attack. That jab of Cotto is more than enough to take the "pretty" of Mayweather's face by the end of the fight. He pounded Mosley's face with that left jab and at the end of the fight Mosley's jaw was swollen.

 

Really? I've never picked against Cotto in any fight he's had in his entire career. This includes his fights with Mosley(which I said he would edge out), and against Margo(I initially took Margo because of his size, uppercut, as well as Cotto's inablility to take a punch and then changed my mind). The Clottey fight will be the first fight that I'm actually picking against Cotto. Are some of you Cotto fans so delusional that you will actually make up supposed slights against your idol?

Oh man, I forgot that Mosley has a comparable defensive skills to Mayweather.:roll: To tell you the truth, there's no reason to even debate this fight. If it ever comes off, I'll take Floyd all day long. If you're smart, you won't bet on Cotto in this fight; save your money.

Clottey is very hungry... But Cotto is probably just as hungry and I believe he is more well-rounded than Clottey. Cotto UD. Possibly late stoppage in the 11th or 12th.
