i got Foreman, they way he destroyed Frazier was amazing. I feel he accomplished more than Tyson clearly.
Are you serious? Foreman by a country mile. Tyson was **** scared of the old Foreman yet alone the monster of the early days. I believe his comment to Don King was "If you love the mutha****er so much why don't you fight him" Enough said.
Head to head I'd take George, young or old. Young George had a better career than Tyson. Old George had an equal or better career. Tyson was an amazing kid, but his time on top lasted about as long as a fart in the wind.
Foreman beat world class fighters in their primes. Tyson LOST to world class fighters, and had impressive KOs against good, but not great fighters. Only Tyson's win against a recently retired Holmes suggests that he could have beaten an all-time great in his prime, as Holmes was really only 4-5 years past his best. But the fact is that Tyson NEVER beat an ATG at his peak. Foreman ruined a lot of ATGs. Case closed.
I agree with everything on this post except,"Holmes was really only 4-5 years past his best."4-5 years past your best is a lifetime in this sport.I feel that big George would have starched Tyson and Larry would have boxed Tyson's ears off.
