"I think that like alot of top fighters have, when Manny Pacquiao first gets in the ring with Hatton he will think - and I don't know why, because I knew from Day One what I was looking at - but Pacquiao will think: "****ing hell, I didn't realize he was this good! I suspect Freddie Roach will know how good Ricky is. I'm surprised that Freddie has taken the fight, but then maybe it's not been Freddie's call. But if I was Freddie, and it was my call, I'd avoid Ricky Hatton like the plague."

Graham is the same genius who was in the dressing room before the Mayweather-Hatton fight begging Cortez to let Ricky fight his usual filthy fight.He's also the genius who is the EX,not present trainer of said Hatton.And now with these comments,kinda makes you wonder who Hatton ducked when Graham was his trainer.And if Pac ko's Hatton,what kind of tripe should we expect to come forth from Graham's big mouth?Are we looking at the English Enzo?

 

Graham just stirring up **** so hatton can throw him a bone later on. Graham is the guy thats saying:

"Hey look at me im Hattons former trainer i made him the guy he is today...guys? where you going? HEY GUYS im telling the truth! COME BACK! YOU ****S. they'll come back after the fight......."

Graham has a point in that Hatton is often underestimated due to the messy, clinch 'n maul strategy that he became especially fond of post-Tszyu. It makes him look very sloppy and crude. However, even before he hired Mayweather Sr, Hatton was better than this deceptive approach indicated. He's certainly quicker (both in terms of footwork and hands) than he's often given credit for, and he certainly surprised Mayweather with this in the early stage of their fight, when he was closing the range so quickly and leaping in with that odd left. (The same left that ironically ended up getting him knocked out, as he used it so much that Mayweather got the timing down and eventually trapped him with a counter.)

That being said, I don't think Roach is underestimating Hatton. He knows his stuff, and most of all, he knows his fighter -- if he thinks Pac can knock Hatton out, then I'm pretty certain that he's seen some glaring flaws in the Hitman. The combination of Pac's speed and his southpaw stance alone should be enough to greatly worry Hatton fans, let alone the fact that Pac has been gradually polishing his boxing technique over the years. It's an interesting fight.

 

I love Ricky but he talks some utter ****, even on par with Calzaghe for being a complete Hypocrite.

He said that Manny cant take body shots, Hattons been hurt load sof times with body shots, he said Manny got Kod????/when was taht @ 106 lbs..

rick got Kod by a non puncher @ 147 and almost got Kod by feather fisted Collazo/Lozcano.

I guess Ricky doesnt remember Dave Paris in the tszyu fight, and Micky Van in his 15 WBU fights....oh what about the Ref rescuing Ricky in the Lazcano fight? LOL

 

Not yet, and I kind of hope I don't hear of any stories about fighting again at 135, 130, or any weight. The guy has cemented his legacy, my favorite fighter of all time - no other fighter in the history of the sport has interested me as much as MAB. The guy can retire with his head held high.

The khan fight was bull****.

 

I just hope Manny wears the right socks for this fight so there is no excuses in the evident he loses.
