Just curious to know how other trainers do it. Just say you train 5 days a week. Would you do pad work everytime you train and how long for. Or do you have specific sessions based on pads and punching. Does you trainer give you exercises and tell you what to do when you train or do you just turn up and do what ever you feel like training on.
We have a crowded gym, so not very often with the trainer. We do get paired up to punch each others gloves often, it's like a cheaper version of pad work.
Same here, except when the people who come in for the "classes" we don't do much of anything except for stations -.-
Rarely do padwork nowadays. done more sparring which for me is better in a way cos its better experience in a way.
we dont do alot of padwork at our gym we used to do heaps but i spoke to a pro trainer and hes really high on the stuff and got me doing Mayweather pads which he says im made for
jeez im surprised at this. we usually do it twice a week and extra pad work with the coaches for those in the build up to fights.
I use pads everyday with my best fighters who has fight´s coming up. Pads are good but I think teqniqual training like offensive or defensive practice man to man is even more important if you do them in a high good pace. Sharpness, yes you get very sharp of doing pads. The Predator
