I fear this still wont give carl any recognition, regardless of the result. The american media dont even appear to be that concerned. Hardly the biggest of press conferences.
Yup true, its going to take Frochy a while yet I think, if he can string together a few results worth mentioning then he will get the recognition. People say he hasn't got long hes 31 yrs old, so what hes still got at least 5-6 yrs in him, he may not have long exposure at the top, but quality will certainly be there!
Froch needs a unification fight straight away to gain recognition after this fight. A win over Taylor doest do THAT much for him imo. The only massive fight out there is Pavlik, and i doubt he'll be interested. He has to go after Kessler and be universally regarded as the divisions number one before any bigger names come calling. A fight between Froch and Kessler is massive as the loser has literally no where to go. Back on topic, i dont feel Carl looks over relaxed in the VT, and im more impressed with Taylors body language, a man who of course, has been in much bigger fights.
I actually thought Taylor looked the more relaxed of the two - hopefully he's underestimating Froch..
Carl did seem a bit nervous, but as said above, it really means nothing, hopefully, being a first defence, against a quality opponent in his back yard will bring the best out in Froch.
