The same Dan Rafeal who picked Pavlik to beat Hopkins by KO ??

He's only the lord and master of what he eats !! Not boxing !!

Burt Sugar has forgotten more about boxing than this entire board combined will ever know.

I like Dan too, but he's not on Burt's level IMO.

It's funny hearing how old Burt sounded in his phone interview on Oscar's legacy when he said "Girls were screaming for De La Hoya like Tom Jones or Frank Sinatra" - On boxing he's a learned scholar, when it comes to music, well he should just stay at the bar.

Bert Sugar is all class, a boxing library!... Dan Rafael has ages to go before he can compare himself to a great like Bert Sugar!!

Burt Sugar is a walking book of Boxing.
(DR is nowhere near, needs to put in more work.)

It's sad that you admire a fatass who probably couldn't fight his way out of a wet paperbag. But I bet he can eat like there is no tomorrow!

Both are clueless at this point although I respect Sugar more

Sugar is like an old school Max Kellerman in that he knows a ton about boxing history but couldn't analyze, break down and correctly predict an upcoming fight if his life depended on it (at least recently)

Rafael doesn't really know anything. He can't predict a fight, can't score a fight, and can't write a decent boxing article

rafael can give you the scoop on current fighters and their management teams, upcoming fights, etc. he's no historian. you want to see experts? the classic forum has them.

those guys are great when it comes to fighters from the past but when it comes to today's fighters they are just as clueless as the people on the general, usually even more.

Dan Rafael is too much of a bitter ***** for me to appreciate him on any level. He acts like some smarmy **** who you used to post message boards, and is now the unrighteous king of boxing gossip. No class.
