actually they signed gamboa and solis along with Yan Barthelemy...at that time Lara was still in Cuba,tried to defect and got caught in brazil..finally made it to the pro last year.

 

Like a fine engineer, Öner is pushing the right buttons at the right time.

A controversial figure, that's for sure. He put his stable together quicker than DLH, staged shows from Asia, through Europe to the US, made deals with other promoters and top US, German, UK, Turkish etc. networks (I believe at least one Gamboa fight was broadcasted in Cuba), puts asses in seats, belts and ranking positions to the figthers, has a stable of awesome talents and he even has Rocchigiani on his side (as a trainer) in these minor WBC title fights, that's good way to put pressure on the organization that went bankrupt being unable to pay the millions to the guy. Don't let him near the ring bell and don't ask how he put his stable together that quicky, and you'll have one of the top promoters of the world. Interesting story.

 

He's a ****ing cowboy, and is as corrupt as hell.

Originally it seemed like he was a fresh air to boxing, but in truth he'll probably make things worse.

 

Whatever..... Let me know when Gamboa do something worth talking about.

 

I for my part strongly dislike him.He for sure is not the most likeable human being out there.
Nevertheless,props to him for matching his boys extremely toughly.Honour where honour is due!
His heavy weight hope Kretschman will face a teak tough cookie like Bakhtov in his 10th pro fight.Really amazing!
His highly ranked compatriot Mahir Oral will square off against rising middle weight puncher Pirog on the undercard.
Solis fought Mazikin in his second pro fight.Gamboa captured a world title after ......just a dozen fights in the paid ranks.
Lara will drive on the fast track,too.
Airich fought Danny Williams in his 9th pro fight,and Pala in his 12th.
His boys really have to pull up their socks early in their career with this kind of matchmaking:good
