Say what you will about Rafael but you fans have to admit that you look forward to reading his Friday Notebook to get the latest news.

As for Bert Sugar, he's obviously a walking boxing historian but like most old guys, i get the sense that he's caught in the past and overrates the older guys while not giving the current generation enough credit.

Not me. I genuinely do not read Rafael's **** or check on him at all because of what I say.

I don't need the bad vibes.

    Agreed on Sugar.

That's a cool avatar. Is that your cat or did you get it off the Internet?

As for the topic, say what you will about Rafael but he does give us fans the inside scoop and i appreciate him for that.

 Good stuff. It does look like the cat is throwing combinations. I wonder what weight he fights at.

hell no. Kellerman is one of the WORST things about current boxing - an unqualified clown who got his job because of nepotism, not by paying dues like guys like Sugar, or even Rafael.

There will always be a place in boxing for that old guy propping up the bar going "Ahhh, these new guys are nothing, now "Earless" Fred Jackson, he wudda whipped these bums..."

The latest version of Sugar's nauseating Tyson story was that Tyson punched a hole thru his dressing room wall & his fist came out the other side right under Michael Spinks' nose :rofl.

Rafael is a bitter bitchwho just mumbles **** about fighters when he doesn't get his cheeseburgers fed intravenously.
Sugar is kinda nostalgic but at least he is cool to listen.

Ya know Bert Sugar is a boxing HISTORIAN...It's kind of his job to wax poetic about the older fighters.
