I find it painfull watching "the greatest of all time" now:? Another more controversial answer is Naz.Hamed imo was on the road to greatness, but his families paranoia and his entourage of "you da man" bloodsuckers ruined him.The minute he started letting his brother dictate his career it was a downward spiral.The two men who'd nurtured him (Warren and Ingle) were pushed aside and bad decisions made.Watching Naz humiliated against Berrera was sad,a prime Hamed would have taken Berrera out in 6 rounds.Then the prison sentence and the pictures of him at ringside looking like a fat caricature of the man that made Robinson,Johnson and McCullough look like club fighters.
Ali..my elders told me that was a sad day!!!! For me...Tyson (had tears), knew it all over!!! In fact the danny williams loss was the hurtful sight. Trinidad when he lost to winky..he had no clue at all. Morales when he was battered by pacman in the 3rd fight..that hurt.
Sorry to disagree, but Roy being gunshy is a complete misinterpretation of the fight, fans, experts all got it wrong. In fact, according to compubox, he threw as many punches as in the John Ruiz fight, which was in his absolute prime. Also, he threw and landed more than Hopkins a few months earlier. Calzaghe just threw and landed twice as many, so it's easy to look gunshy. Roy was the 2nd most successful fighter vs. Joe in number of punches landedm, only after Kessler. I don't think Roy has ever was as busy as Calzaghe, who despite holding back in the last 4, still threw and landed the most ever on Roy, almost throwing a 1000 punches. Badly over the hill, yes. Gunshy, no. Everybody looks gunshy and out of breath vs. Calzaghe, just as everybody looks amateur and out of balance vs. Hopkins, or slow vs. the prime Roy.
My goodness man, lay off the crack. It may be too late for you though, as you sound ****ed up beyond reason.
