    Think about it:

    * Turns pro at a relatively late age in his mid-20s
    * Works his way up relatively unnoticed against mostly dreadful competition
    * Can't draw flies
    * Not a household name in his own living room
    * Has another UK fighter in the same division who is a big name superstar on the p4p list and was selling out stadia when he was an undercard fighter
    * Has developed a worrying obsession with that fighter to the point that he is incapable of giving an interview without mentioning him.
    * Wants to make his own name solely off the back of talking about this fighter and is forever calling him out though he knows full well the fight is never going to happen
    * Has the nerve to slate this fighter's career, achievements and opposition despite the fact that his own is nowhere near the same standard
    * Is quite frankly boring the sh*t out of everyone banging on about it

    Discuss?

Froch is prepared to go to war to back up his words.

There are lots of similarities - but that single difference there makes him a whole different proposition to Witter.

He is exactly the same imo but Junior Witter is actually better p4p. I think Hatton vs. Witter could have been an entertaining fight considering how motivated Witter would have been but at the end of the day Witter was never in Hatton's league and the same applies with Froch and Calzaghe but I think Froch will lose convincingly in this next fight.

Witter hasn't been in wars because he avoids them. Hence why he's 35 and still fighting. McCloskey in the summer and then if he wins a defence at that or a world eliminator with a title shot very late 09, early 10.

Witter v Khan wouldn't be out of the question.

    In a way.

Although there was never really a time when these two could have fought in all honesty. There were opportunities for Witter/Hatton, and it would have been a whole lot more competetive.

Witter v Hatton is a clash of style that I personally don't think woud've made for a great fight. I know for a fact that when Witter fought Bradley his head was all over the shop and just didn't want to be there. Family problems etc. But hey, you've still got to deal with your opponent and he has the tools to beat Bradley, no doubt.

Can't disagree with that but can't blame them either.

    Froch is worse.

There's a video on the GF of him stopping a sentence to launch a tirade against JC

Nah neither should really have fought Froch or Witter.

Hatton has always had better opportunities in opponents than a fight against Witter. The fight could have been close but for little reward and Hatton never believed in taking those chances. Can not blame him because he has built up a good fortune for himself. Witter has ****ed himself over.

Calzaghe vs Froch never looked liked happening and the career paths never came close to crossing over. Calzaghe deserved his pay off against RJJ while Froch is still not a major player...unless he beats Taylor which I doubt he will.

True, I agree with that one, Froch is actually prepared to get out of his comfort zone and go out of his way to make a fight with a world class opponent. I'll give him his respect for that.

Witter bores the crap out of me, whilst Froch has a entertaining never say die attitude.

In the ring nowhere alike. Outside, perhaps similar, but i feel that could be due to having hennesey as a promoter, Jon Thaxton as well anyone?

And did Froch not see out the biggest indoor arena in nottingham, against someone most casual fans would not of heard off? Hardly someone who cannot draw.
