Although many had Maidana beating Kotelnik.

Tough fight for Ortiz and Maidana has a punchers chance and is a banger himself, but Ortiz is so much more talented and technically better

Winner of Khan-Kotelnik has to first face mandatory challenger Dimitry Salita.

Maidana's a really tough fight for Ortiz. Maidana can bang and will chincheck Ortiz.

Odo don't get too much in it,you said the same with Tsypko.
Ortiz is overrated but he is good.
This will just really show how good he is.

Indeed but funny thing that happened since the day they fought and people had been bitching about the decision I haven't heard nobody say Maidana won.
I thought Kotelnik won close but clear nad did a paint job in the middle of the fight.

Yes,Ortiz is a good fighter, but Maidana is better in my opinion.
Ortiz has looked very impressive against very modest American opposition-Maidana has looked great against one of the reigning world champs at his weight division.Quite a difference, isnt it!

As dispersed as the world titles are thse days it ain't that impressive but indeed Kotelnik is the best fighter on their resumes between them.
And yes I also see a big chance for Maidana to win but Ortiz has always delived till now so we''ll have to see.

Ballsy move, seems a bit weird though. Why put him in with a skilled banger when there is no call for it. I mean fine if he was on rise up the ladder but with a title shot around the corner is seems unnessecary to me

Good to hear that all 4 fighters (Khan, Kotelnik, Maidana and Ortiz) are looking at some big challenges up on the horizon. Competition only makes people better.

Khan/Ortiz at the pro level would be superb.
