According to El Nuevo Dia, Team Trinidad is asking 15 million dollars for Tito to return. Papa Trinidad believes that his son hasn't diminished in value. In part he is right because Tito will always sell PPV's specially in PR; however, I really hope this doesn't materialize and Tito stays retired for ol' times sake :|

According to the scene Tito's contract with Don King says he must receive a minimum of $10m per fight.

It's a shame Trinidad can't come down to at least 154lbs..
A fight with Vernon Forrest @ 154lbs would have been a good fight.
(Both past their best, But still competitive)

Anyone else, think a fight with Forrest would be better?

Absolutely but I would take a Trinidad-Cintron over Forrest.

I'd never be happier to NOT buy a PPV than if Tito fought Hopkins. What a snoozefest waiting to happen.

Absolutely...he can still be competitive @ 154 and maybe even 160 to some extent...AS a diehard, lifelong Trinidad fan I am truly dissappointed..I don't want to see this at all...

No wonder the talk of Pavlik/Tito didn't get to far. Would have loved to have seen the look on Arum's face though. :yep

I would like Trinidad's chances better against Pavlik @ 160 than I do against Hopkins in '09.

Still think 154lbs would be best for him tho..

Im a BIG Tito fan, nuthugger or whatever you want to call me but IMHO Tito is out of his ****ing mind to be asking for so much money in today's economy. Listen Tito neither you, your daddy, your fine looking wifey, the other fine looking girl who had your son and your nice looking house in MonteHiedra put together are worth $15 millions so GTFO....Stay retire and keep enjoying whatever money you have left, go to the Gallera on sundays and call it a day papa....
