I agree with you on Lara he's the truth but you never know. Rigondeaux could turn out to be a solid pro, I can't wait to see his debut.

anybody can turnout to be a great pro, look at nate cambell...mofo has no amateur pedigree and he's considered an elite today...same with a lot of fighters....

but with rigondeaux, i dont get the hype...i mean, he sure as hell has great accomplishments in the am's, but does that surprise anybody, CUBA is known for that.....

that's like me being proud of my little cousin from mexico learning how to lay down tile :rofl:rofl

Wow, this erislandy lara kid is taking boxing serious.

He'll fight on the undercard of hatton/pacquiao and on May 22 (the same date as rigo turns pro) he'll fight again!

Whale of a talent, but he's starting old in perhaps the most stacked division in the sport- which also happens to be one where guys usually don't age all that gracefully. I'm very interested to see just what he can accomplish over the next 2-3 years.

He has shown the skills and power to do so. Do you have any proof that IN HIS PARTICULAR CASE he won't be? NO? I kind of knew it. That's it. Thank you.

Please, don't bother bringing others' examples. We are talking Rigondeaux here.
