    I'd say Lyakhovich.
Kind of a pointless thread but I'm just curious to know your opinions.

not lyakhovic: at least he comes to fight and provided a little excitement (and isn't that bad). contenders for this crown would be ruiz (boring, average, cheater), briggs (hit the lottery vs lyakovich and frustratingly wheezed his way to a loss to the average sultan in his first defense); sultan ibrag (took boring decisions off of briggs and holy before getting jabbed to a loss, above average fighter and no excitement) and valuev for his poor comp and arguably losing a couple along the way

To be fair Sergei/Brewster was a highly dramatic HW title fight. Granted he stunk it up to high heaven against Briggs but that's Shannon Briggs.

I'd have to say with Nicholai Valuev. I thought about Ibragamov but Sultan won his title fights decisively. I considered John Ruiz but Ruiz had Norman Stone and that meant high drama. I thought about Ruslan but the man can't be blamed for injuries.

So there ya go, The Russian Giant.

I'm going with Shannon Briggs. Younger Shannon Briggs wasn't so horrible, but it really took a ton of luck and Lyakhovich having a horrible fight to win that one.

I hate to say it, but Valuev would practically shut out Briggs.

    1. Maskaev. Lost by Ko all his big fights except Rahman, which he won by lucky punch in close fight.
    2. Briggs. Won a title from S.Lyahovich in fight by Ko 12, being behind on scorecardrs. His luck ended in next fight, boring slugfest vs. Ibragimov.
    3. Valuev

Valuez is much much much worse than John Ruiz..

At least Ruiz is fearless. The man fights anybody unlike that worthless YEtti..
