Nonito THE FLASH Donaire can mix up his punches like a lil Marquez

Donaire is overhyped. He hasn't beaten anyone but Vic. I can't believe he has so many nuthuggers.

 

donaire deserves his hype. i mean if you see how he operates, he really is technically solid, with power on both hands and can switch from southpaw to orthodox with ease. one problem, i noticed about him is he frequently does this turn-around thing in the middle of a fight just like he was dancing. though he does it only if he is in a safe distance.

i hope he gets montiel next so that people would not complain with his level of opposition. the problem is, he is too good that few fighters are willing to face him.

 

Donaire can mix up his punches beautifully but right now he doesn't really have the arsenal that Marquez has nor the fluidity.

 

I think he wont be able to handle the higher weight classes as well. He is breaking his hands at 112 what more if he moves up. once he hits 118 hell get laid out. To say that he is going to be greater than Manny is just straight up nuthugging. Manny is an ATG in the sport and Donaire would be hard pressed to even come close to that. I'm not completely ruling him out, he could possibly be great, but he will never come close to Pacquiao's greatness.

Donaire is a VERY good fighter who deserves more hype. Such a shame that all he and his fans can say that he has Vic Darchinyan's number, because in the last 2 years, he didn't fight a single top fighter while Vic kicked 3 elite butts in a row and the 4th is coming up.

Donaire has Darchinyan's number but he's battery is dead, so what's the point?

He has it "the goods" at 112 for sure. Im talking about 115- 122 where all the names he needs to beat are at

 

Nah man the truth is that Donaire has been fighting high risk low reward opponents with underrated skills and ****ing them up. Martinez and Mthlane are both solid fighters.

Donaire beat Martinez like a straight up tomato can, which he is really not.

 

I sort of see him being like marquez in that both are great boxers but might not get all the credit they deserve compared to their peers who are more action oriented. Pacquiao in the case of Marquez and Darchinyan in the case of Donaire.

Donaire just needs to fight more and more quality fighters like Montiel in the future and he'll get all the respect that he deserves.

 

Martinez was 5'2" and chinny with a padded record and two good (but not great) win against (a) another fighter who had a padded record in Victor Proa and (b) and old Isidro Garcia who's gotten his ass kicked a few times lately and whose last win over a decent fighter above flyweight was in 1999. He may not be a tomato can, but he's not good either. There wasn't any risk in fighting him, especially in the Phillippines. Mthlane is probably a little better than that, but it's hard to tell because his only decent win is against Hussein Hussein, who seems to have fallen off a cliff lately. Dangerous would be fighting someone like Daisuke Naito or Takefumi Sakata.

And Martinez is a good fighter. No doubt about it. He is quick, compact, technically sound, and a strong puncher.

 

I've been saying this for a long time now, i have seen this donaire guy on YT and stream video(his last fight). This little ****er is the truth! He has fought good fighters who have good records and up and comers like him, he didn't need to fight all these wash up big names like arce which quite frankly he would have knock out faster than darchinyan did.

 

He was kinda a bit too pumped up for that fight, though. He said he was so nervous when the announcer called his name and the Filipino audience cheered loudly. He wanted to put on a show for them.

He loved the hometown fans' reactions and his adrenaline was in full gear so he wanted to show off and entertain the people and threw bombs early.

He was a bit wild for a few times, I think he even switched to southpaw for half a round. He wanted a KTFO win for the people.

He hurt his left hand. Not a fracture, but it was really swollen, much bigger than his right hand.

 

But yeah, I like Donaire, and I wish him good luck in the future.

I'm not a big, big fan yet. (I've only seen a handful of his fights, and there's no "fan-idol bond" yet, like when you support a fighter from the very start and you've seen all his failures and victories. )

But I'm willing to follow his career closely and I'll support him in all his future fights.

The guy is pretty smooth, he's got good size and speed and power for his weight class and he's got a good personality. What's not to like.
