Why The Fu(k Is FNFs Starting So Late For???

This is ****in stupid. 90% of the time friday night fights starts at 9pm and ends around 11pm but tonight because of the douche bag african tree hockey game(NBA playoff game and yes that was a little racist get over it) it doesn't start to 10:30pm(if not later) and Shobox starts at 11pm. So instead of watching FNFs at 9pm and it ending perfectly at 11pm just in time for Shobox now I have to wait an hour and a half for some boxing and then I have to keep changing channels come 11pm.

I ****in hate basketball who the **** actually watches this piece of **** sport anymore??? And they say boxing is dying??? Wasnt the NBA asking for a bailout???

this is ****ing bull****, the good thing about shobox is its starting time and finishes early im watching from ireland so now i have to stay up till ****ing half 3 and prob even later because of all the stupid time outs and **** in that girls game

 

Many more people would be pissed if the a damn NBA playoff game was pushed back for a relatively pointless fight. You would have to be ******ed to give boxing scheduling preference over the NBA.

 

Yeah. I get to watch the Cavs do some whuppin' then on to Shobox. Maybe if I'm not too drunk I'll watch FNF on TIVO tonight, if not tomorrow afternoon.

 

Amen. Watching each basketball team take turns running up and down the court is no different from tennis to me. The fact that these big *******s don't even have to jump to stuff the ball is also completely unsexy. Basketball is mindless. Can't stand it.

Tree hockey? I've never heard that one before. That's funny as hell. Actually, looking at the cards, both FNFs and Showbox are gonna suck. Worry about Saturday night. That's the scheduling problem: Juanma v Penalosa and Taylor v Froch.

 

Perhaps because NBA TV contracts are worth hundreds of millions of dollars and generate millions of viewers while ESPN spends like 30 grand on a boxing card for a lot less viewers...

 

You need a DVR man. What happens when HBO and SHO have fights on the same night? Record them and watch them whenever you want.

 

Two good prospects on FNFs and the main event should be a great fight. Escalante and Stark are both exciting prospects.

Then Devon Alexander another good prospect/ contender on Shobox.

Yeah Spinks is boring but he's a top fighter and I'd like him. We also get to see if Lattimore is just a flash in the pan or is actually a good fighter.

I'll take almost any fight over a basketball game.
