cox really needs to calm down, if he fights this wildly against brook he's gonna get knocked out.

into the 6th now, looks like cox is starting to tire from all the wild swinging in the earlier rounds. really has missed the target far too often tonight, needs to get back to his boxing skills and not try to knock the guy out with every punch.

hopefully will learn from this. i'd be really worried for him now if this was a 12 rounder rather than 8.

better 7th for cox, but caught with a shot right at the end and looked like it had hurt him, right on the temple. fell forward and into lloyd and MIGHT have gone down if lloyd hadnt been there, but not badly hurt.

cox wins by stoppage in the 8th. he is a dirty dirty ****er, could've had a few points deducted.

coming across ok in the post fight interview though.

cox is talented..but he doesnt act like a pro..dirty and disrespectful looking, needs to lose that side of him...like he was in unlicensed boxing from the 70's

disgrace when you think the BBBoC rejected lloyd as an opponent for brook, yet accepted elwell.

McCrory's analysis was laughable. Apparently the ref should have been taking points left right and centre for all of Cox's indiscretions (coulda lost one for the head, agreed). Did he mention Lloyd's constant, and I mean CONSTANT holding everytime Cox got within a metre of him? That fat ass ref didn't do his job correctly tonight, on both sides. Consequently it ruined the fight when both men began to tire slightly.

I think all the holding, and generally good spoiling and defensive work from Lloyd frustrated Cox. It was a frustated performance, combined with being far too in love with his power after 4 stoppages in a row. Get back on the jab.

Broadhurst looked good against Afrobum #3 by the way. Very precise puncher. Very technically adept, good body puncher, everything is pretty nice to look at.

Shame about the power. If he's the biggest puncher in Woodhall's gym he must be training a lot of Malignaggi clones.

Would back him to beat the spoiler Lee Haskins handily on points, in a messy fight.
