yes just being objective i mean Montiel's style is a little bit of a mirror image to Vic's except that he relies more on the hook than the straight. And thats a little bit more in Vic's advantage, even though Vic does have a weakness to the left hook when he lets his hands go. When i say mirror image i realise that they have a very different stance but what i mean is that they like to keep their distance and then lunge in with powershots usually set up by a jab. Overall though Vic is stronger than Montiel and I think faster too. Both are very accurate.

Vic has the edge of being a southpaw + stronger + a little bit faster = Vic wins.

    WTF?

    Montiel .

im a big Vic fan and hope he could pull it off but Montiel does everything better and hit's just as hard. montiel by ko in 7.

And if Montiel ever fights Donaire All do an AVY bet with nyone that Montiel beats him and beats him by Ko as well

Montiel had the fight booked but he skipped off to Bantam. I don't wanna see Donaire move up 2 divisions and go straight in against a guy like Montiel or even Darchinyan. Tuneups are key when moving up in weight i've always believed that. 1 division is borderline, but 2 is madness.

Montiel is more textbook and does less mistakes than Vic and I think it would be the key here. I think both can hurt each other and that the fight could end at any moment but i feel that Vic will make the kind of mistake he did in the Donaire fight and get Koed.
