I hope I can get to see the fight. Burns had Duddy doing well, this could mean Billy and his trainer are better than they get credit for? :think

I see what your trying to do here, but before I make any judgement myself I would need to see the fight first.

It's the home team. See my thread where Loew said he though Duddy was underestimating Billy. Fair play to Jack since no one though Billy could pull this off and Jack trained him for the fight. Like I said, I've never seen Billy fight but after seeing what Burns was doing with Duddy, I never expected this to be honest. Pulled for the home guy, but never expected it. Looks like my standing bet with Greengloves for a Pavlik/Duddy fight is down the drain. :-(

I saw Lyell fight James Kirkland, he had alot of heart but Kirkland had too much power and speed for him. Duddy I thought would handle him, just not as good as Kirkland. Duddy seriously sucks for losing to this guy.

Too bad Chavez Jr. couldn't get him first.

He missed a payday, but he will at least live longer... AA or Pavlik probably would have done Permanent dmg to him

Duddy is always fun to watch but he is rather limited.

He went life and death with a very limited (but always entertaining) Smichet and a pretty faded Campas.

The judges can't always go his way in a close fight.

I haven't seen the fight yet, but generally the judges tilt towards the undefeated fighter which makes me wonder just how this went down. It seems Billy would have had to outclass him pretty well to get a decision? I haven't seen a post from anyone saying they actually saw the fight. Was the judges scores fair/accurate?

The fightnews report says he looked sluggish and was outworked all night.
