Well its 7 days away , Im a massive Hatton fan and Im flying out to vegas on Thursday! But Im getting nervous, Manny P is awesome, his speed, training, combos. Its gonna be tough for Ricky. It will be a great fght no doubt, I can see both fighters pushed to there limits. Hatton has a chance if you can pressure Manny and work his body. As the fight gets closer Im just wonderoing if Hatton can cope with Mannys in and out speed. If the fela can train for 43 rounds solid you have to imagine he can box in and out to perfection for 12 Anyway good luck to Hatton and Manny, both great ambassadors for the sport THERES ONLY ONEEEE RICKY HATTON :happy
I think the 43 rounds are probably a combination of sparring, heavy bags and punch mitts, timed 3 minutes of punching per round.
Ye I'm getting more nervous each day mate but still believe ricky can pull it out of the bag. have a great time in vegas and make some serious noise for ricky!! hopefully we'll all be walking in a hatton wonderland after the fight.
To those who will go to Vegas.. How much did you pay for your tickets for the fight, and how much pocket money do you guys have on you for spending on plane fare, food, hotel rooms, gambling, etc.? Just curious, I wanna know how much money do you need to be able to watch a live Vegas boxing match.
Hotel room for 5 nights was £130. Flights were £500 Tickets to the fight £300 each. Taking £800 spending.
hmm thats true, pac is awesome, with great speed and stamine and skill. but it is also true that THERE IS ONLY OOONNNEEE RICKY HATTON!!!! come on hatton bring it back to the UK baybee lol
Man, that's kinda expensive, converted into our local currency.. The rich people here can easily afford to spend that much for a long weekend in Vegas, but the regular, blue collar guys have no chance. Anyway, thanks. Good luck and have fun.
Well I finally have a decent job so wanted to spend my 'hard earned' cash on my lifetime ambition to see a big fight in Vegas The bad side is I'm still at home with the parents! My flat deposit savings has went into this fight But ****, it will be worth it!
It's a once in a lifetime pilgrimmage of the boxing faithful into the Mecca of entertainment and boxing. I'd definitely go there to watch a big time fight at least once in my lifetime if given the opportunity. :good
Is that Aberdeen to Vegas via London?? Thats not too bad.....Are you going to the Haye fight too? Flights from Aberdeen-London-Dusseldorf Hotel for two nights and ticket only cost 300!!
