Lowe is a crap trainer. When his main fighter was in his hour of need he had nothing for him. Nothing. A big part of being a trainer is being there when your fighter needs you, not when its plain sailing.

Good for this Billy Lyell kid. It would revitalise his career and give him hope he can be something other than a journeyman.

Billy just graduated from college. (Maybe that would have been a good plan for Duddy?) It could be that with the adequate training time he may turn into a more consistent fighter. It will be interesting to see if he gets ranked now since Duddy was well placed by all of the orgs.

Well, a big part of the trainers job is to get the fighter ready. We only hear bits and pieces of what goes on in the corner, but sometimes there is nothing left to say by fight night. You really don't know what is being communicated unless you go through the training with them. What we like to laugh about on ESB may have much deeper meaning in a one minute corner session between fighter and trainer. Let's face it, how many times has the corner given the exact right advice to a fighter only to watch him go out and ignore it because he doesn't feel he can pull it off in the ring?

And not the elbow injury or the fever and antibiotics. It is all well documented if you care to look for it. :patsch

I think it's more down to the fact that Pavlik is a one-dimensional straight-lines kinda' guy, whose chin doesn't quite match his work ethic.

He was unwilling to pressurise after the 2nd round 'cause he knew B-Hop had enouh firepower to put him out.

    Abraham will destroy Pavlik.

Well he should have pulled out of the fight but he didn't so he can't use that as an excuse....Hopkins exposed him.

Kelly had no snap on his punch. Simple as that. He shouldn't have been in the ring THAT night, period. And don't try and twist it to say I mean against Bhop. I mean THAT night. Period.

Abraham's arms are too short to box with Pavlik. :deal
