He looks good! It was funny being there and seeing Mike Mollo giving him advice though. :D

Wilders another Michael Grant,an ebony skinned prospect them guys over at HBO can fawn over as the next great American hope.I really rate Fury and comparing their amateur resumes with what theyve done so far in the pros theirs nothing that suggests Wilder winning this fight by ko.

I think it's great that he's got personality, he's not a boring fighter. I don't get why a lot of people don't like fighters with entertaining personalitites.

He did back him up, I was a little concerned with that because Wilder didn't choose to clinch and tie up the man.

    Why fight now?

Build them up and have them fight when they are both world champions.

No. But I see he lost a points decision by two rounds.

I don't have a problem with fighters displaying arrogance or cockiness, but when it is coming from a fighter who clearly has a lot to learn in his 4th fight against a no-hoper, I find it ridiculous.
Sugar Ray showboating against Hagler is entertaining, Deontay Wilder showboating against a drunk Parks Dept. custodian isn't.

HOw was he showboating? You mean celebrating after his victory then listening to the advice of his trainer?

to get rid of the pretender that is why. Wilder at this point would smash Fury and probably brutally KO him getting rid of another British hype train.

I think he was more poking fun at the HWs of today and not Wilder.

I was impressed by Wilder. I didn't like some of the stuff I saw after the fight (I know you're happy with the win but keep it in check) but the guy has a REALLY bright future. You can see the fire in him and that's tremendous.

My only question is how will he cope will the more bulkier and physical heavies in the division. Icould see him having trouble with guys like Ruiz and Chageav, who are very grabby and can try to physically impose on Wilder. If he continues to bulk up (I'd stop at about 225 ish), I think he's about as solid as it gets in this division.

I think his frame is too slight to allow his balance issues to be corrected against truly big fighters. He'll probably be top level, but I get the sense he'll have been a better amateur than a pro.

right, he's being hyped. No one said he's the greatest ever. Some folks just have an eye on him. Nothing wrong with that, he's our only medalist from the joke of the olympics that just past.

    stop being a dick.
