He jabbed the early stages of Gomez because he couldn't time him with any other shot. He jabbed Peter the whole fight, thought he did through right hands behind it and occasional left hooks. They both bore me. They sit back and invite guys to come onto them and just use their reach to keep their left hand in the face of the opponent all night long, until they break their opponent down and then start to throw a few right hands behind it and get the stoppage late on.
Fans, a Haye win is best for boxing. He's only 28 and will improve further - he could have 5-10 great fights after this if he wins. Plus love him or hate him, he's exciting to watch. Yes I'm English and biased, but this is what the H'eight division needs.
1 - He barely got 'out-boxed' 2 - Fragomeni isn't a club fighter. Who has he lost to since? Nobody, and he's claimed the most prestigous belt. 3 - You don't win a silver in the World Championships, the hardest amateur competition of all, without having boxing ability. I want to see the heavyweight division ruled by a guy who is exciting and comes to fight and entertain people. And that sure as hell ain't won of the Klitschko's. Do you want to see a division ruled between 2 guys who will never, ever fight each other?
I will root for Haye because the heavyweight division needs a jolt, and Haye's style would represent how a true heavyweight champ is seen by the public. Dumb as this may sound, I've just gotten tired of watching Wlad bore us with his ugly style of fighting.
I want the Hayemaker I am English. I have followed Haye from when he turned pro he is exiting to watch takes risks and has charisma. Come on Haye knock that third world **** out!
Xenophobia is disliking and being prejudice to opinions different from yours. Read the starting post and tags. If you don't understand than you are dumb. STFU newb.
Haye, as I have been a fan long before the Mormeck fight, its better for the division and boxing in general. Plus I hate Klitites.
Holmes and Lewis did not clinch as nearly as much as Waldo does. They fought like true champions. Lewis completely dominated a prime Rahman and knocked him out in impressive fashion. Klitschko took his time with an overweight, way past it Rahman, and didn't even end it with an impressive KO.
Lewis took risks. He had a good jab, obviously Holmes did aswell, but they had other talls, they would move around, throw right hands, get inside, mix it up. The Klitschko's do none of this, Wlad sits back and jabs, jabs, jabs, and occasionally throws a straight hand behind it.
