Appleby's strength could be the difference here the way this is playing out. Down the stretch he's going to be difficult to handle.

    3-2 Lindsay

Appleby is having to bullrush Lindsay to give himself less chance at being timed and countered.

The way it's going, and considering who's promoting the show and where the fight is being held, I say Appleby needs a K.O in a fight this close (scoring wise and competitive-wise)

3-2 Lindsay for me. Appleby took the 5th IMO, landed the cleaner more effective punches.

Fair play to Lindsay, great performance.

    Appleby's defence was very poor.

I'll give anyone that the stoppage was a bit early, but he had him.

Appleby was still holding on. Stopping the fight when Appleby was buying himself time in the clinch was a joke.

However, Appleby was young and took some big shots there and did well to stay up.

Once he's matured and moves up to 130, I feel he can do well. He's 21, no worries.

He is too proud of his statement of never having been knocked down...ever.
