    thats a good pick-me-up for irish boxing after the duddy dissapointment yesterday

    Appelby was out on his feet, I don't think he would've survived the last 10 seconds or so.
    If he did, it was only a matter of time, he was clearly getting buzzed when Martin put something behind his shots.

    Too much accuracy from Lindsay.. it kind of looked like Margarito vs. Mosley, only Lindsay stepped back and counterpunched more.:think

    brilliant for lindsay, after the disappointment of duddy last night its great to see an irishman winning

    Appleby was out on his feet and was trying to clinch. He was almost stopped then he Lucille fell onto the ropes.

    Lindsay was going to TKO him if it went on great fight

    apparently there's talk of a world title fight against Cristobal Cruz now, or so thats how the gossip was before the fight!

    it was a 50/50 call, he had been holding on and his legs were wobbly, i could see why the ref stepped in because he could have been KTFO very easily.

    He seems to be a very smart lad inside and outside the ring.
    I think he's capable of making good decisions, and if he fights like a man on a mission, like tonight.. I see him taking that title away from Cruz.

    Great win for Lindsay, the stoppage was right. The ref probably didn't want Appleby strewn out over the canvas like Mathews. Irish boxing is going brilliantly, the Belfast gyms are on a great run!

    I would agree but if it did go on longer he was going to be koed anyway he done well to stay on his feet.
    Did anyone else notice that buncey was pissed drunk?
