Fair stoppage, Appleby took too many flush punches.

    Great performance from Lindsay.

Lindsay looked a beast in there tonight! I was very impressed with him.

Choi v Lindsay would be ideal, but Warren has ****ed Choi's career right up.

    Good fight.

Good, mature response from both lads. I think they will both leave this fight with a lot, even Appleby.

Bunce obviously doen't know who Cristobal Cruz is!

Not a big puncher, and he has 11 losses. Lindsay might have a chance, even in defeat he would learn a lot.

Booth said it himself, you've got to take the risks.

Yeah Cruz he maybe could beat but what about the next contender :huh

The next guy might be a cracking boxer who could KO lindsay or easily outbox him

    Great performance from Lindsay.

There should have been a kd called earlier, when Appleby was whacked and grabbed Lindsay's legs beside the rope (that looked like a kd call to me).

The stoppage was correct in any case.

Lindsay v Choi would be a good fight.

Well apparently Cruz would have to defend against his mandatory first anyway, now the IBF #2 spot is vacant..........however #1 is Jorge Solis.

If Cruz can beat Solis, and Lindsay can beat Cruz, then I'm not sure he would struggle with said challengers.
it's better to be a former World title holder than to never hold a World title though.

Solis will stop Cruz, and he'll stop Lindsay too.

Choi has been inactive for a while and is highly rated by fans, writers and sanctioning bodies alike.

However, Frank Warren appears to have forgotten where he left Choi and hasn't done anything with him since the Matthews fight, which pushed him onto the Ring FW rankings.
