i'm rooting for haye... just feel like we boxing fans and the rest of the world need a new face of the heavyweight division... hope that haye can bring that... and besides that, i was never a big fan of the klitschkos...

i'm rooting for the steel hammer on June 20th. I could never root for a fighter as classless as Haye. He is an embarrassment to the sport. His pre-fight antics will attract the immature and clueless boxing fans. It doesn't do anything to enhance the sport in my eyes. I know I am probably in the minority when I state this, but I am a real boxing fan and I don't need crude behavior to get excited about a fight.

    Viva Wlad!!

    Haye, because he's hilarious!!

The Klitschko's seem like decent guys outta the ring, but I really can't stand watching them box, its just very boring...

Also Haye is exciting at times to watch etcc

    and i'm not British also

im very conflicted on this one.

on one hand, ive been a fan of wlads for some time now, and although his fights have become les exciting than before the sanders loss, i still like watching him ko people.

on the other hand, haye might be better for the division, shaking things up with his mouth and exciting style.

i suppose i still want wlad to win. once haye fights vitali, his little heavyweight field trip is done anyway, so he might as well just get stopped beforehand.

There has always been showmanship and trash talking in boxing, its part of the game, it's been going on for over 100 years.John L. Sullivan used to go into bars and tell everyone in the bar how he could 'lick any son of a ***** in this place'. You can't go around calling yourself a real fan because your up on your high horse, and for my money it does enhance the sport. We all know its all done to generate more interest and hence more money, and once it doesn't get too out of hand I see no problem with it. A t- shirt with your head being ripped off is hardly going too far, its more a joke than anything and any champion worth his salt shouldn't get upset or be overly sensitive about something like that.

Admittedly boxers in the past have gone too far e.g hopkins against calzaghe and Ali against frazier.

anyway your opinion is your opinion and there's nothing I can say to make you change that but I thought i'd give you some food for thought.

P.S don't think i'm some sort of Haye nuthugger, cos really i'm not, I've only seen him fight like 4 times and have been reasonably impressed, and couldn't really care if he wins or not but just wanted to give my opinion on the whole 'classless' claim etc...

    Haye.

The Main reason being I want to see Vitali vs Haye since I rate Vitali better than Wlad.
Heavyweight division could use a shake up.

    The masses have spoken.

7 out of 10 boxing fans want to see Wlad convulsing on the canvas like an infantile ****** against Haye.

David Haye, then I'm not to bothered if Vit resizes his expanding head afterwards.

The Haymaker this one though to light the touch paper in the heavies.

If I really believed that Haye could be the saviour of the division that people hype him up to be, then I would want him to win.

If he goes on to unify the division and hold it for a couple of years then I will agree it was the best thing to happen.

However, I can't see him holding onto anything at HW for more then a couple of fights. His whiskers just aren't good enough, and the next Corrie Sanders will **** him just like happened to Wlad. Or the next David Tua will crack him like an egg. He will get beaten, not by a great fighter, but by an embarassingly mediocre one.

Plus his whole loudmouth routine, for all those who are massive fans of a guy acting like an arrogant ****... how well will it hold out in the future?
Right now it seems effective because he is using it on Wlad - and that seems to work. An obnoxious little twat with no claim to being anything in the division but bravado - going up against a giant, cold, calculating proven champion. I can see that the contrast makes it interesting. That can sell a fight. He is using Wlad's stature, massive fame, popularity, reputation all against him.
But what about when Haye doesn't have that to work with? Trash talking Wlad is interesting cause it is Wlad he is doing it to. A nobody mouthing off to a somebody. What about if Haye wins, then has to defend against people other then the Klits? A somebody mouthing off to nobodies?
Future viability or marketability? It probably won't sell.

I just dont buy Haye as the saviour of the division. Anyone who does it hoping too hard for them to see clearly. And wanting change for change's sake rarely improves anything.

Give Haye some steel implants in his chin and I might see why people could have faith in him.

    Wlad will knock Haye out.

Wlad is the Champ and will be on 21th of June:
