Carl Froch's KO of Jermain Taylor, is it best fight of the year so far? IT was great drama seeing Froch come back like he did, really buzzed of the last 2 rounds when they went toe-to-toe.

Credit to Jermain Taylor, he is a quality fighter and I had him ahead on the scorecards by a round at the time of the stoppage, but Froch had too much heart, stamina and strength in the later rounds. Where's Froch gonna go next? Allan Green? Mikkel Kessler? Maybe Calzaghe??

The ending was amazing, but it wasn't all quality from 1-12.
I reckon a few others will be able to trump it this year.

Strong contender for finish of the year though, definitely.

Yeah, being forced to watch it online here in the UK.
But hell was it worth it.

I bet his next fight will be TV.

Juan Manuel Marquez vs. Juan Diaz....Unbelievable action fight and my current fight of the year.

This fight was a good fight...not a great fight. The drama was OUTSTANDING, top notch which all in all is what I ask for in boxing fights. Great drama.

The fight was pretty scrappy at the beginning, but the way the tension built throughout the rounds and then resolved itzelf in a frenzy at the end was pretty spectacular. Both men put on a good showing too, and those who paid for a stream of the fight live definitely got their money's worth.

It's such a shame this wasn't on TV in the uk. If it had been this showing would've helped generate a following like Ricky Hatton and Joe Calzaghe have got for Froch.

Of course not. That fight had many slow rounds where pretty much nothing happened.

The last round could be round of the year tho.

It wasnt all qualiy if you're a brit, watching your fighter be hopelessly outclassed, but for everyone else it was a pretty good fight from start to finish, with Taylor dominating the early-mid rounds, and Froch rallying late and KO'ing Taylor. Quite a dramatic fight.

    'ello sir!

There are some rounds going up on YT by the way. Good quality. I watched up to the 6th and then the last as the last 6 aren't yet up.

EDIT: It was cute to hear Froch, earlier on when he was close to getting his arse handed to him, telling McCrakken "I've got him now!" and McCrakken replying with a sigh, "You're not got him kid, trust me, you aint got him, you need to listen to me"

Mosley vs Margarito was better. Diaz vs Marquez was better. And Berto vs Collazo was better.

From round 6-10 the fight was pretty boring.
