    Being outclassed by Taylor is no disgrace anyway, he is a top, top boxer who was up for it tonight.

    Why do they ask the ref whether a defencless fighter can stand another 14 seconds of punches?

    It really has no bearing how much time is left. You can either defend yourself or you can't.

    Besides, Taylor wouldn't have taken another 5 seconds. His hands were down, he got hit by 3 flush power punches in a row and he was flopping to the canvas as he did against Pavlik.
