Allan Green earned my respect tonight. He picked Froch because he was not biased. He told it like it was and he was correct. I wish Green lots of luck. While so many were provincial, he told the truth, he said what he knew and was right. It's time that some told the truth instead of picking because of bias.

Green was unbiased tonight. I will always respect him.

I get so tired of so many saying Klitschkos are the worst heavyweights in the world. Green would not say such. Green told the truth, I was surprised. I support him as a great fighter and ,most importantly, as a person.

I agree I think he stops Taylor early still doesnt change the fact that Froch was getting handled and if Taylor could've held on for 15 more seconds he wins a UD.

You sound like you wanna blow Green for calling a fight right.

I was a green Fan ever since he GTFO Codrington. The guy has serious pop and very effective boxing skills. He can still make some noise I hope his next fight is for a title.

No, I respect Green for being unbiased. I am so tired of all the hatred for Euro fighters, and for no reason. Green made a decision tonight, truly unbiased. I only want a level playingfield for everyone. Euro fighters are always hated to the extreme. To judge Euro fighters for their merits is a great thing that I admire. Quite being provincial.

    Racial Jingoism...US vs someone.....
An African guy I know, said, what has race (nationality) to do with it. It is two men in the ring.

I see some Euro fights and in the contender level of the European Championship....(like being US champion).
First the French are as tough as nails.
The Brits if left alone have some great infighting.
Every once in a while there is a good Itilian, who can box a bit, but are looking for a fight.
Some of the Spainish look like the watch Mexican fights. They have on the whole the least skill.

The Germans are technically good, defensive fighters going for the decision. The Germans who do most of the training for the Russians and Germans and Arminians and what not, 3 are rivals of 70, one is 40 now... they stress basics, the shell and patience. A win is a win, so box the guy, and don't get careless. A KO happens don't go looking for one.

The best money to be had is in Gemany. The public for free TV helps that out a lot.
Valuoff or how ever might fight in a 6,000 seat stadium, or an Abraham or a Strum vs a nobody. A good fight sells out a 12, or a 15,000 man stadium.(Most are Ice hocky stadiums)

Here we just had a "Big" fight, a Championship fight, with a big US name and they filled a 3,800 seat HS gym.
What does that say about US boxing?

They should have come to Germany and gotten some Big Bucks. They should have fought in England and filled a big stadium.

By the way I'm in favor of the 15 round Championship fights, of my youth.

Which proves you dont know your ass from your elbow. The British folk thought so low of Froch that they wouldnt even televise the fight. :rofl

You actually think Jermain Taylor is a "Big" US name lol.

Agree........though was a traversty it wasn't shown live on brit tv. Although if the fight was held here in the uk i would think a tv station would of definately picked the fight up. Plus a fight of this magnitude would of should very well. I could see it selling out the o2 arena no probs.

So what 15 seconds? Should Froch said .. ah well theres only 15 seconds left well done you win !!

No.. he went for the kill becuase he had to, Taylor blew this fight he never fought back. So you really can't complain a fight is a fight and can end at any time so you STFU.
