His chin was proven for me against Pascal. He has a fairly decent dig but his speed isn't up to much. Calzaghe would have wiped the floor with him.

He's a good fighter, just not as good as he thinks he is.

The lads criticising that performance just havent got a ****in clue.
Carl Froch showed everything you need in this game and more. ****in brilliant performance and I for one am dam ****in proud he's English. I Hope we get the chance to see him live back home, but we'll probablly loose him to the states n I would'nt blame him.Calzage will defo stay retired,Froch beats him in every department.
Well done Carl Froch, n his birds fit as **** as well. Top man.

Agree with everything you say here Blue. The way Froch walked Taylor down in the 12th was chilling...top showing:good

Cheers pal:good could watch that 12th over and over.

  5. The yanks are just bitter

they are all saying..... JT should have jabbed him for 12 rounds and schooled him ..... Yet they critisise someone like Wlad for doing the exact same thing.

Last night two warriors went blow for blow and showed great heart.

    I'm so pleased for Froch

Never seen the fight, but you have to give Froch all the credit in the world. If someone had told me a couple of years ago that Froch would go on to achieve what he had i would have thought they were crazy.I thought he looked terrible,he was arrogant, used to pose and mess about in fights, and there were that many flaws it was laughable. To be fair to the man the last couple of years he's got his act together and become more focused and disciplined.Sure there are still flaws there but there's also an incredible self belief and determination to go with the power and toughness he posseses to make him a major problem for anyone at 160/168. He should be lauded for what he has just achieved.

You deluded idiot.:nutI struggle to see Froch putting many meaningful punches on Calzaghe during the course of a fight. Easy UD for JC.

  8. Yeah it would be a boring 12 Rounds of Joe slapping his way to a UD.... Not a fight I would want to see

Chin:- Good chin so far, having said that Taylor isnt a big puncher yet he hurt Froch several times.

Power:- Overated, he hits hard at the level he has been fighting at but against Pascal and Taylor he hasnt been devastating

Speed:- God awful, he fights as though he is walking in tar.

Delusion:- Excellent, once again he called out Calzaghe, and after that showing if he even thinks he would compete with Joe he is out of his mind.

nah mate your wrong. Calzaghe would be coming back for wrong reasons, his hearts not init anymore, where Frochs heart is the size of a ****in lion.
And Calzaghe's no ****in defensive master or willie pep, so where the **** you get froch landin no meaningful punches is beyond me.
After a few rounds of froch bein right in his face throwin bombs calzaghe would revert to his holding , slapping, throwing his arms out to the side and sticking his tongue out with his embarassing attempt at showboating. FRoch would sicken him.
    Deluded no.
And i aint no idiot you ozzy convict ****:bbb

great fight, froch showed what he is made of,**** loads of heart there
he needs to sort his defence out though at this level and stop leading with his chin.
taylor is a class act, boxed his ass off for the 1st 3 rounds then i thought it was more even after that

We should give Taylor some credit too, and I hope that he continues fighting because he was completely dominating Froch in the first half of the fight. If he had good stamina he would be the top super-middle in the world in my opinion.

people who say taylor isnt a big puncher are talking bollocks, hes certainly a harder hitter than pascal anyway, who in turn has a fairly big dig. Taylor had pavlik wobbled, and put him down, which is more than the LHW hopkins did, even though hopkins landed far more and for longer.
