Really up for Froch - Kessler now. And you know Carl will fight anybody.

    Give Froch a chance.

James Toney was "hopelessly behind" vs a big name, Michael Nunn. Toney got the late stoppage, in their dramatic 1991 fight.

Toney grew into his title. Toney had the stones to step up and Froch did the same. Froch could fight someone like Allan Green, who looked good on the same card. Froch has "validated" himself to the Americans, he has announced himself as an exciting commodity to the networks, he has proven he's willing to risk his title. He can cash in some unification like Bute and Kessler and hopefully leave without getting hurt, and with his unbeaten record.

Froch has won 2 classics vs fast, athletic, flashy guys, Pascal and Taylor. I really think Pascal's ranking should be revised to top 10 (due to domination of Ikeke, tough loss to Froch, brutal KO of world title challenger Nievas). When he fights, it's drama.

Taylor put on some of his best ever boxing; Froch beat a very good fighter in a massive gamble. He deserves to smash up someone like Green or Bika in Nottingham, before a big crowd.

Dude sorry to say but if the man was no good he would not have got the job done. He flew over to America and was fighting in someone else's backyard, he talked the talk and walked the walk and as you see he did need the knockdown because in America he would not get the decision as we saw 106-102 so the man did the business and I know the yanks are pissed and before the fight all the Americans were slating Froch so now these guys will have to eat humble pie and give Froch his props big fella.

Sometimes in a fight you look bad but as long as the job gets done then its all good. I just think that if Froch maybe fined tuned his strategy along with some of his defensive work he would give fighters trouble, especially if he uses that jab and goes down to the body more.

Yeah Taylor is only 6'1 and Froch is a gigantic 6'0. Truly Jermain Taylor is a midget in this division.

Eh? Ikeke and Nievas are pretty chump-esque, hardly career defining.

It is very hard to say Froch is no good after he stops Taylor in the 12th to retain his title. Taylor might very well be depleted from a tough 4 years fighting all good guys. Very tough competition.

I like these type of thrweads. Forum's resident donkey reveals himself, and his donkey mates chime in. It's handy.

Sore losers or what, yesterday Froch had no chance and it was "who's carl froch?"
and he makes sure you know who he is, and you still wont give him credit.
Froch aint a great fighter by any means, but he is tough, strong, powerful and will
    keep coming at you.
