Likely be another nobody. Nickle is a modern day Brian Nielsen

Maybe Dicky Ryan will come out of retirement for him!

He's in denmark training, he has to meet his mandatory in a couple of months.
But nobody knows where and when, very frustrating :think

He is planning his training for his mandatory defence against Perdomo. His lawyers are working on getting him out of his contract with Palle. That is pretty much what we know right now...

Mogens Palle is the problem. Hes a greedy old angry man. He cares about money nothing else. Recently he made a lawsuit againt Kessler which can delay his career for a year.

I just wish that Kessler would stick his head out some more. Complaining a bit to the media to raise peoples awareness of what is going on, thus putting a little more pressure on Palle.

I can't believe how badly his career has went since the Calzaghe fight.
In my opinion, he's the best Super-middle in the world and I'd favour him over every Light-heavy except maybe Dawson (50/50 fight).
Still don't understand why they rejected the Miranda fight which would have been excellent exposure and an easy victory.
Plenty of big fights to be made at 168 - hopefully we'll see him against another top fighter soon instead of another God-awful mandatory.

kessler has lots of potential, i cant believe whats happening to him right now. i feel bad for him, he seems he badly wants to have a money fight, but his contract with palle is preventing him to do so.

I wish we see more of him, rather than rot in denmark and fighting nobodies

The massive home support some European fighters can demand is a double-edged sword; on the one side you can make a lot of money, on the other you'll have promoters like Palle and Warren milking every last cent out of easy matches they know they can sell out anyway.

But still he has fought 3 out of his last 7 fights away from home (all championship fights). That is not a bad ratio for the guy being labelled the man at the division.
